THE JOYS OF OWNING A PET
Unconditional Love is just one of the benefits an animal can bring into your life. Just having a pet in the house, can turn it into a home, and there will always be someone there to greet you when you get home at the end of the day. What a wonderful gift is that!
I like to think that owning a pet is a two way street. We love them with all our heart and they in turn give us their unconditional Love! They are there with us to share our happiness and joy, but they are also there to comfort us in our sadness and sorrow.
Never underestimate the power of an animal.
There must be a million stories of magical and miraculous happenings concerning animals. The ones who have wandered away, presumed lost or worse, only to reappear, sometimes years later. The ones who have performed life saving acts of one form or another, and those who have brought love and companionship to the lonely. I myself had a cat Rupert, who disappeared for nearly 3 months. We searched & searched for him, we put up notices and I asked all the neighbours to check their garages and sheds, where he may have got shut in but sadly there was no sign of him.
He came strolling down the garden path one evening, as if he had only left the house that morning! He looked none the worse for wear, and to this day, we don't know where he had been, but the one good thing that came out of it was, that he never ventured too far from the house after that.
Scientists have proved that just stroking a pet for a few minutes can have amazing health benefits, calming people who suffer from anxiety, lowering blood pressure in those people who have hypertension and giving a feeling of well being to those who are depressed.
In other words, they give us Healing.
We in turn can give Healing to our pets, you can ask a Spiritual Healer to give your pet healing, but there is nothing to stop you from giving the healing yourself. After all, you are the one person who knows your pet the best.
To give healing to your pet. If you think your pet is injured or severely unwell, it is always best to seek the services of a VET. If your pet has been treated by a vet, there is no harm in giving them healing yourself. It is a kind of mental top up to their spirit and assists the physical treatment the vet gave.
Remember, the healing is coming from the Angels & Spirits, you are just the Channel they use for the purpose.
Sit quietly with your pet, and still your mind. Start to stroke and sooth your pet, it is perfectly O K to chat with them while you are doing this. Concentrate on the different areas of their body as your hands move over them. If you feel any difference in one particular area, stay and concentrate on this area for a few minutes. You are receiving loving and healing energy from Spirit that will travel through your hands and into your pet.
They will take great benefit from this healing, it will take them to a calm place and it will aid their recovery.
Say a little prayer of Thanks to Spirit when you are finished. Remember not to take their pain or illness into yourself.
You are asking the Angels & Spirits to heal your pet. The Healing does not come from you. It comes from Spirit through you. Well Done! I hope you have a feeling of happiness for what you have just done for your pet.

Kuki. A very regal 18 year old lady. Always an indoor cat, unfortunately one day, someone left the door open and she ran out. She was missing for nearly 3 weeks. But her owner never gave up on her and went out searching every night. Then she got a report of someone seeing a stray tabby cat in the area. Some food and a cage later and Great Joy! Kuki was found! With Love & care from her Owner and Healing from Jennie, she went on to make a full recovery from her ordeal. Bless her!
